GENNEVA MALAYSIA SDN BHD DID NOTHING WRONG. We are happy and satisfied customers, very grateful to the company for sharing their profits with us since 2010. We have no complaints as we received our dues as promised. GENNEVA is the company we trust to buy gold from with our hard-earned money. 30-odd complaints do not represent the 60,000 of us. Thus, the raid by Bank Negara Malaysia is UNJUST and uncalled for.
FYI, we the customers were informed by GMSB management last week of September 2012 that we will get our gold, hibah and commissions 1 October 2012 onwards. Bank Negara Malaysia raided Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd and froze GMSB’s bank account on 1 October 2012. More than 60,000 livelihoods and families are affected.
We are fully aware how the authorities can drag their feet. They dragged their feet for FOUR YEARS as happened to Genneva Sdn Bhd (GSB) raided in 2009 on mere suspicion of illegal deposit taking and money laundering. The court case is still ongoing. We will not tolerate further delays. We have families to feed, housing and car loans, children’s education and medical bills to pay, just to name a few.
The Rakyat, Genneva Customers’ URGENT Appeal:
- Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) to return the gold confiscated on 1 October 2012 to Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd (GM) immediately for delivery to customers. The gold was paid for by the customers and belongs to the customers, not GM.
- BNM to return all cheques, documents and computer servers seized; and to unfreeze GM’s bank account so that monies due can be released immediately to GM’s customers and consultants nationwide. Due to BNM’s freeze on 1 October 2012:
- Customers who sold their gold to GM can’t receive their payment
- 60,000 customers have not received their monthly discretionary Hibah (since October 2012)
- 6,000 consultants nationwide have not received their commissions. (August 2012 commission till now.)
- BNM to unfreeze the personal bank accounts of GM directors and management and joint accounts with their family members too.
- BNM to restore GM to its original trading position to resume operations immediately. Customers want GM to deal with them directly, not BNM. GM is proven because it has honoured its obligations with customers for the past three years and more.
- BNM to stop attacking, persecuting and tarnishing Genneva Malaysia Sdn Bhd in the media on assumptions and suspicions without evidence. As Tun Mahathir said, “Investigate first because if you stop the transaction, people’s money will be locked out and they cannot use, they cannot even get the gold … They deserve fair treatment.” – view http://on.fb.me/TNnIwC
- Acquit Genneva Sdn Bhd. This court case has been ongoing since 2009 and has been used by competitors to tarnish GM’s good name.
